Which Phonak Domes Fit Marvel, Paradise, Lumity & Infinio?

Choosing the right dome for your Phonak hearing aid can make a significant difference to comfort, sound quality, and how well your hearing aid stays in place. This guide covers dome compatibility for Phonak's most popular RIC (receiver-in-canal) models: Marvel, Paradise, Lumity, and Infinio.

What Are Hearing Aid Domes?

Domes are the small silicone tips that sit at the end of your hearing aid's receiver and rest inside your ear canal. They come in different styles and sizes to suit different ear canal shapes and hearing loss profiles. They should be replaced every 2–4 weeks as part of your regular hearing aid maintenance.

Which Domes Fit Phonak Marvel, Paradise, Lumity & Infinio?

All four of these Phonak models use the Phonak 4.0 dome system. This means the same domes are compatible across Marvel, Paradise, Lumity, and Infinio — making it easy to reorder without worrying about model-specific compatibility.

Phonak 4.0 Dome Styles

Style Description Best For
Open Small vents allow natural sound in Mild to moderate high-frequency hearing loss
Tulip / Vented Partially closed with small vents Mild to moderate hearing loss, more occlusion than open
Closed / Power Fully sealed, no vents Moderate to severe hearing loss

Phonak 4.0 Dome Sizes

Phonak 4.0 domes are available in the following sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL. The right size depends on your ear canal diameter. Your audiologist will have measured this when fitting your hearing aids — if in doubt, check your fitting notes or contact your audiologist.

General sizing guide:

  • Small ear canals → XS or S
  • Average ear canals → M (most common)
  • Larger ear canals → L or XL

How Do I Know If My Dome Fits Correctly?

A well-fitting dome should:

  • Sit comfortably in your ear canal without pain
  • Stay in place when you move your jaw or chew
  • Not feel like it's blocking your ear (unless you're using a closed dome intentionally)
  • Not fall out during normal activity

If your dome feels loose, try the next size up. If it's uncomfortable or causing soreness, try the next size down.

How Often Should I Replace My Phonak Domes?

Replace domes every 2–4 weeks, or sooner if they become discoloured, misshapen, or feel less comfortable. Worn domes can affect sound quality and hygiene.

Can I Use Other Brand Domes on My Phonak Hearing Aid?

We recommend using genuine Phonak 4.0 domes to ensure a secure fit and optimal sound quality. Third-party domes may not seat correctly on the receiver, which can affect performance and potentially damage the receiver.
